Inspired by the scenic views surrounding the property, the design of the extension explores the connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Natural light is maximised through the bespoke triple-glazed sliding door system, assisted by a series of large roof lights making the new internal space feel bright and open. Structure is purposefully kept to a minimum, using a striking material palette of glass and steel to create the beautiful addition to the home.
Reflecting a gallery space, the interiors keep to a muted colour scheme, allowing the artwork displayed in the studio space to remain at the forefront of the design. Light tones are used in the bespoke joinery and fittings to blend with the overall feel of the extension.
